LOCK IN THE WHY
I began by defining the purpose of the content. What would it achieve for the business? Why would someone want to read it? And what kind of content would suit best?
LET'S GET WRITING
Finally, I wrote a series of branded articles and several press releases to generate media attention. I interviewed Hi-Tec's brand ambassador, researched, wrote and edited articles and integrated products and brand messages into each piece of content.
WHAT'S THE STORY?
I then turned the strategy into a narrative by creating article topics and linking them with Hi-Tec's brand messages and business objectives. I also made a content calendar so this information could easily be understood at a glance by anyone in the company.
